After an afternoon of climbing in the heat of the desert, we are packing up to head back to camp. This was shot right on the rim of the Owen's River Gorge, which is owned by Los Angeles; the tower takes some electricity from the damn to Southern California homes.

Woke up at 2 am to take some night photos on Isle Royale, an island in the middle of lake superior. The light above the horizon is the aurora borealis.
Right after a huge rainstorm on Isle Royale, the sun was making so many rays everywhere because of the mist. This was one of the best spots for it.
